Stayed here with my family members and everything was fab. The studio suite was tidy, had a private safe, central heating, and an iron. Location: the hotel was so close to sea from the platform, a nice restaurant up in the hills and various other nearby attractions. I could drink something at La Meridiana, located 1 km away.

I like how close it is to everything, but at the same time far enough away to avoid the noise. The deck is a great addition that allows you to relax under the great weather and take in the scenery.
We had a problem with our bookings. When they say for 4 people its not always for 4 adults. We booked a double room for 4 which meant to us that it was two double rooms attached. Which was not the case. So instead we got a double bed and a bunk bed. Would of sucked if we had total 4 adults.

The owners could not have been more helpful. Although they are not on premises we could call anytime for assistance. They even transported us to the family restaurant, which was magnifico! You can walk to Forio from the hotel and although we had a car to see the island, you could easily go by bus if you weren't in a hurry.

We liked this appartment complex very much. It has an excellent location right at the sea cost, with a nice platform on the water. You can enjoy on the platform or have a 5 minutes’ walk to one of the best beaches on Ischia. It is located in Forio, a charming small place. The apartment was well equipped. The whole building is nicely designed and charming. There is a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Since it is on the western side of the island, it has a beautiful sunset in the sea and the longest day on the beach. There are markets nearby. The owner of the place is very kind and helpful, ready to give all the needed help and information. It is a really nice place for a relaxed and enjoyable vacation. The whole Ischia is beautiful.
The apartment was very clean when we arrived, however, there was no regular cleaning service nor changing of towels. It would have been nice to have it at least once in 2-3 days. Otherwise it was really nice.

Nice hotel with own beach (platform), free High-Speed Internet and shuttle bus service. The most wonderful aspect of this hotel however is the owner Amerigo. He and his hotel staff were welcoming and eager to please. The hotel is located some 800 meters from the center town (Forio), 200 meters from food-shop and bus stop were you could take the busses around the island (ticket – 1.90 EUR). The rooms are very large with lots of closet space and Air conditioning. There is a sink with full kitchen supplies and fridge. We have made a wonderful friend and I hope we have the chance to return really soon.

Nothing, and I mean nothing was too much trouble for Amerigo, the owner/host. He is a new friend to me and my family when staying at La Rotunda and another property on the island. He and his family made our holiday/family wedding on the island truly memorable. The room I booked was not the room I thought I booked - it was better and amazing - bigger with 2 rooms, 2 balconies and a private rooftop terrace. There was a bad accident with a friend and Amerigo handled this emergency in the middle of the night with such calm (I was not) and compassion, transporting us to the hospital and helping us through what was a traumatic experience for my injured friend. I think all my family fell in love with Amerigo for his generous hospitality and kindness. We would stay at Rotonda without hesitation, and I am already planning my next visit only 2 days after leaving this wonderful place on Ischia.
I cannot fault Rotonda in anyway or the family who operate this and several more establishments on Ischia. They were like family to us and treated us like friends or even like family.

Absolutely fabulous! What really makes this hotel special is the wonderful Colella family that own and run it. They are marvelous. They take every oportunity to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Also, their family owned restaurant is both delious and healthy. The son Amerigo (who manages La Rotonta) is always helpful, friendly, dependable, and respectful. On the day of our departure there was a change in the ferry scheldules. Amerigo took us (at no charge) to four different ferry locations and then made sure that we got on the right connection. He exceded any of my expectations. We look forward to returning to enjoy the pleasant surroundings and experience the hospitality of this wonderful family.

The hotel was peaceful and the location was fantastic, right next to great restaurants, transport to-and-from the ferry port, and local Thermal gardens. All the staff members were amazingly kind and extremely friendly.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
